"What a great piece of history! Not a very big museum but packed with lots of facts and info! It’s worth your time to pay a visit! Evidence of the post war tests can be found all over the island."

"THIS IS A MUST VISIT. After visiting Topsail Island multiple years, I made my way to the Museum this year. Not disappointed! Kevin greeted me, and gave me a quick overview of the museum. Each station has significant anecdotal history lessons. For those not so historically inclined, you will still find many tidbits about the island interesting. My visit was great but not long - very glad I went. And I left a donation. Don't miss out - visit this place while you are in the area !!"

"Great little free museum to learn about local history. Included are mementos and videos of the building and its' place in the development of the US missile program, and information on World War II and this area. Of interest is the story of women pilots during the war and the kinds of things they went through. Be sure to watch the video interview from one of them. There are some early missiles, and even stories of local pirates. It doesn't take too long to see everything, and it's worth a side trip while you're in the area."
