"Well maintained trails. Beautifully landscaped around the visitor center. I don't usually recommend public restrooms but it is impressive how the restrooms in the former stable have been made to look like a stable. The window on wildlife today provided viewing of two turkeys who stopped by for a free lunch. Rough blazing star beginning to bloom on the Grasslands Trail. Joe pye weed and ironweed in bloom along the Meadows Loop. (August 21, 2025)"

"Really nice park with many different trails and mostly covered with trees so ideal for warm summer days to cool off. With the breeze and a cooler climate in the woods. Also nice resting areas and lots of playgrounds. They also have tours for the mansion. Nice flowered around the buildings. And amazing and clean toilets."
