What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Swan Creek Preserve Metropark is a beautiful urban oasis with scenic trails and abundant wildlife, offering a peaceful escape. However, some visitors have noted issues with disruptive behavior from other park-goers and potential limitations in the playground's design for very young children. Despite these concerns, the park's natural beauty and unique features like the swinging bridge are highly appreciated.
"Beautiful park. I recommend walking with another person. A creep was there while I was walking with my pup. I ended up calling 911 and a park ranger came before I could even hang up. A good reminder to always keep your eyes open and your head on a swivel!."
Racheal
"Some nice walking trails and a swinging bridge. Most of which are off the red trail. The reason I gave 4 stars is because online the distance of the trails listed didn't let you know you have to start at the beginning of the red trail each time making the other trails pretty short."
Jennifer Waingrow
"lovely park with a nice playground, well kept trails, and a very good window on wildlife. but, unfortunately, every time i’m there someone is causing a problem.
last time i was there someone was driving their truck through the grass, someone was blasting sexually explicit music next to the playground, and someone else was having an aggressive and angry phone call in the window on wildlife.
it’s very unfortunate, because it really is a lovely place. i just wish all the other park-goers were respectful of the rules."
