Visitors consistently praise the American Space Museum for its surprisingly vast collection of authentic NASA artifacts and the exceptional quality of its guided tours, often led by former space program professionals. While small, the museum offers immense historical value and a personal touch that makes it a highly recommended stop, especially for space enthusiasts. Some may find it less polished than larger institutions, but the genuine passion and unique exhibits are undeniable highlights.

"This is a small museum in a small town. I expected ephemera and lots of explanatory texts. I got both but WAY more cool artifacts than I thought I'd find here.

If you are into space exploration, this place is definitely worth your time. And it's not far from the Kennedy Space Center, so it's not hard to add to your plans. My grandson and I bought a 2-day pass to the Center and came here on the recommendation of one of the Center tour guides so glad we did!"

Janet Kragen

"I have to say how impressed I am with this museum! It's off the beaten path and I am so glad we came across it. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Barry "Smitty" Smith was the reason we will be back. He was our tour guide and one amazing person to talk to!! Everyone should check this place out! My dad and I enjoyed this place immensely!"

Tabby Petrasek

"This is a great little Museum. It has many, many artifacts related to our space exploration history. It may not be NASA but it is certainly a must check out place. It is well worth the price of admission. Don't forget to check out their gift shop and nearby memorial parks."
