"Beautiful, clean, scenic, family friendly, peaceful and fun. Hiking, camping, canoeing, swimming, fishing, and historical. Highly recommended for all to see. Sometimes I just make the drive there for peace and serenity. They have cabins you can rent and campsites for tents or RVs. Cool place."

"What a view. This is a lovely park and the views are beautiful. There is a nice clean bathroom and a store at the entrance. Down into the park is a beach, hiking trails, and a playground. We did not partake in the water activities, but everyone appeared to be having a good time. The unspoiled natural beauty (thanks to Jimmy Carter that there's not a big ol' dam in the center of it) is amazing from the rock formations to the interesting flora and of course , to the water. Next time we go down that way, we want to go by water."
