"Nice place for a side trip!
Follow the signs to 'Legend Rock' - car navigation might be inaccurate and lead you right into the oil field...🙄 I've heard...
From the main road it's about a 2.7mi gravel ride with the steepest downhill part shortly prior the parking lot. We enjoyed our 4WD on the way back. I've never driven a RV, but considered it pretty steep for one. Obviously most have succeeded, but if you're unsure, check the gradient on a different app like Komoot and decide for yourself...
Arrived there late at 5:30pm and the visitor center was already closed. Trailbook was full. Not sure how often staff is around."
