"The entire experience was about tithing. From entering, the entire 2 hour sermon and leaving. The kids even left with little boxes and were told to put cash in them and give it back to the church. In the Bible it says to give joyfully and generously. In the new testament tithing is no longer a law. I do believe in giving to the church if God puts it on your heart, but this was a bit demanding and threatening. Also, the pastor Kerry was reading from a teleprompter, which felt a bit strange to me. The campus is beautiful, but i did not feel uplifted or feel like anyone was truly experiencing the Holy Spirit, it was more like a lesson on how to double your finances by giving 10% of your income to the church for their 12 million dollar facility they are building."
