What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Hudson RiverWalk as a beautifully transformed waterfront oasis, perfect for peaceful strolls with stunning views of the Hudson River and the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge. The attention to detail in landscaping and amenities like restrooms and a playground are frequently praised, making it a highly recommended destination for relaxation and scenic enjoyment, especially at sunset.
"Beautiful sunset, but you should be aware of your surroundings. There are usually about four men there who looked of Latin American descent, pretending to fish and one of them wear a mask.
The man who has a mask hangs around nearby and acts suspiciously. I was there yesterday with a professional camera and my phone. That man stared suspiciously at my belongings and then hid in the bushes. SO SCARY."

"What an incredible place to be able to walk along the Hudson. Even though there is literally a gazillion new units constructed and going up it was not crowded. Great views of the sunset, and people are walking just waiting to catch it. There is a painstaking attention to detail in the layout of the walkways and places to sit. However, they mistakenly chose perennials that are going to exceed the height of the benches that are sitting right in front of the growth areas and they will eventually block the view. I'm hoping there is an alternate plan for when that happens.
There could be more places to snack and or eat along the path. There is one restaurant along the way. There's another restaurant that is by the marina but that is really more pub food grub. And another one even further away from the walkway further south. I thought maybe some food trucks or even some lemon ice or ice cream vendors might have added a nice touch.
If you are looking for a peaceful beautiful stroll put this on your to-do list you'll thank me for it"

"Loved walking around, view of the Tap bridge is beautiful and want to go back on a clear or partly cloudy night to see the bridge lit up. There are restrooms, a playground and look forward to going back when the fall colors are closer to peak. Plus I have to visit the cemetery, I didnt have time this trip."
