"I would like to start by saying the front desk staff, bellhop staff, and management were phenomenal when it came to addressing our concerns. They were consistently polite, understanding, and accommodating throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was extremely disappointing. We traveled over four hours to celebrate a birthday and graduation at the resort’s water park, booking a basic room with bunk beds. Our first room was filthy—dirty laundry stuffed under the bed, a cereal wrapper in the sheets, a sticky substance on the ceiling, and a broken bed slat.
Staff promptly moved us to another room, but it was no better. We found a lipstick “kiss” mark on the sheets, corn on the bathroom floor, and veggie straws scattered about. These were clear signs that housekeeping had not properly cleaned or changed the bedding. Our third room appeared cleaner at first glance, but we later found a French fry under furniture and a hair tie full of hair on the bathroom door handle. By this point, we were too frustrated to keep moving rooms and tried to make the best of it.
After several hours at the water park, we returned to find our room covered with Asian lady beetles—over two dozen crawling on the walls. The manager, Ben, was understanding and immediately upgraded us to a condo suite, which was spotless and finally met expectations.
As for the water park itself, half of the adult slides were closed on our first day, leaving few options for adults. I also noticed a concerning amount of black mold under the Venus Flytrap slide stairway area.
Service at the on-site restaurants and bars was equally disappointing. An automatic 18% gratuity was added to nearly everything, and servers did not inform us of this, resulting in unintentional double tipping. Unfortunately, this also seemed to affect service quality, as staff appeared unmotivated to provide attentive service.
Overall, this resort has serious issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and transparency. It seems that only guests who book the most expensive rooms receive proper housekeeping. If you’re an adult looking for a balanced water park experience, you’ll likely be disappointed with the number of closures"

"I recently stayed at Camelback Resort and overall, it was a good experience. The place is clean, and the rooms were very tidy and comfortable. However, I would not recommend going on the weekend. I arrived around 12 PM but didn’t get into my room until 3:30 PM. The resort was extremely crowded, and I felt that the price was a bit high considering there’s no food included. Even the restaurant was closed during the evening on Saturday, which was very disappointing. I strongly suggest that visitors bring their own food just in case. As for the Aquatopia waterpark, it’s okay, but honestly, the American Dream waterpark is much better."
