What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the beautiful scenery and the therapeutic 'sound bath' experience of the waterfalls and nature. The hike is considered moderately challenging due to its rocky and steep sections, with many recommending hiking poles and ample water. While some find it easy, others highlight the significant elevation gain as a workout.
"Really beautiful scenery! Great hiking loop in the spring when all the flowers are in full bloom! It’s a 4.2mile (6.6km) trail. It’s considered moderate, due to the rocks on the trail. They say it’s about a 2h trail. We started clockwise and it took us about 3h. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see Dark Hollow Falls, as that would have meant a short detour from the loop when we were already tired. It was a real “sound bath” experience between the birds, the waterfalls and the rustle of the branches. Best therapy for mind and soul! 💯recommended! We would love to explore more of the park!"

"Relatively challenging trail that takes you down into the valley and back up again. It’s about 1,000 feet of elevation that is often times very steep. Definitely bring water. The falls at the bottom are so worth it though!"

"Beautiful waterfalls, quite easy to hike. The water is deep enough to swim, but it can be cold. (I visited in June). In the afternoon the water is warmer, but it was still cold. Maybe later in the summer is more suitable to swim. There is also parking on the other side of the Skyline Drive so no need to worry about that."
