"Arrived a week early! Lol... A lot more visitor traffic than you would think for a place in the middle of nowhere!!! Being early was a great opportunity to see some GREAT sites, drive a peaceful drive... And... Hike some nice little trails!!! Lots of little benches to rest if you get tired... Lots of great little informational signs... Lots of neat history and artifacts! I'd recommend putting your hiking shoes on and spending a day, or maybe a weekend! Download your offline sattelite map first!"

"Well maintained, great trail to the mount, great history lesson for me, we drove all the way out the road ends at the river, bridge is washed out. Lots of spring wildflowers saw two pink ladies slippers on the trail."

Carla M

"Steep trails, I only went to the Hoosier Knob Trail and it was very peaceful and hearing the crickets around 6pm. My son walked the whole way with me and we took breaks on the benches that was provided. May have to go back 3 more times to finish the trails and see the cemetery. This is very educational for the children to learn about history and make you walk and take your time to enjoy nature."
