"Google Review of Vilano Beach Fishing Pier
This place is absolutely gorgeous—definitely worth a visit. Try to go when it's not too hot so you can really enjoy the peaceful, serene vibe. It’s a great spot to relax and take in the view.
Not sure what the story is behind the blue duck at the front entrance. Also, curious if there's any connection between those and the cars that drive around with the multiple ducks at the bottom of their windshield... hmmm?
Overall, a beautiful and calming spot to stop by."

"This was a really nice find while visiting St Augustine. The parking lot is large which is needed because there is a restaurant next door and a bait and tackle shop on the other side. There really weren't many people specifically on the pier.
There are shaded seating areas which are much appreciated in the summer heat.
There is a smaller ramp and dock that goes further into the water. The commercial boats use that to load and unload passengers from their boating activities.
We were out there for about two hours and caught a catfish. We also saw someone catch a sea snake. That was exciting. I've never seen that before.
No issues with mosquitoes around there which is always great."
