"Review Date: March 11th, 2014
Located in Oak Ridge Cemetery and dedicated in May of 1988, this is Illinois’ Capital City’s tribute to the 3,009 fallen/MIA Illinois residents who served in the Vietnam War.
From an architectural standpoint, I really love the design on this Memorial. If I remember right, there is an eternal flame that appears in the center column.
Thank you to all of those who have served and are still active in the Military. Nearby, there is an Illinois Korean War Memorial and a World War II Illinois Veterans Memorial. So if you are visiting this one, walk on over to the others and pay your respects."
