"THE BOAT RAMP IS NOT A SWIMMING POOL. Someone could get seriously injured or killed. And if for whatever reason you must use it, at the bare minimum swim off to the side. It’s becoming a frequent issue the last few years of people/families swimming right where boats are coming in and out. Then have the audacity to get mad at those boaters for using the ramp for it’s intended purpose. Come on now. Many boaters/fisherman like myself have seen this issue first hand some have even called Environmental Police.
If you don’t know how to drive a boat and the rules you have to follow in terms of safety and etiquette, you shouldn’t be driving a boat or jet ski at all. It’s a free for all on weekends here. There’s some very dangerous activity going on that just boils down to flat out recklessness. It’s definitely not everybody, but it’s more of an issue here then most ponds. This pond and ramp seriously needs a law enforcement, environmental police, or harbor master presence. Even if it’s a light one. They could have an absolute field day here. Unregistered boats/jet skis, and a dangerous lack of etiquette. Look, I get these issues are going to happen at any pond to a certain extent and at the end of the day it’s still a nice place. And I don’t want to sound like a Karen when I say this. But you definitely need to be careful out there and be aware of this. There are families out on the water trying to have a nice boat day."

"I've lived on the pond most of my life, and other than the water becomming "unswimmable" during the massive algae bloom season, the rest of the time it's calm and a great pond to go boating or fishing. It has come a long way from when I was a kid in regard to cleanliness, but it's a freshwater pond, so it's going to be murky and full of flora and fauna of all kinds."
