What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find Downtown South Bend to be a clean and well-located area, particularly for those visiting Notre Dame or family. The apartments are often described as spacious and comfortable, with good amenities like fully stocked kitchens and in-unit laundry. However, parking is a recurring concern for many, with spots sometimes being tight or difficult to secure, especially during busy periods. Some guests also noted discrepancies between advertised photos and the actual apartment appearance.
"We stayed for 5 days, the apartment was very nice, clean. Kitchen was fully stocked, had coffee & tea. Bed was comfortable, plenty of closet space, loved the fact that there was a washer & dryer. We were close to ND and our family.
There were a few minor things that needed fixed, but nothing detoured our stay. Parking was not the best, we have a full size truck and the spots seemed more for compacts."

"We stayed at Kasa for the Notre Dame Graduation weekend. It was a lovely experience; simple and easy to use. The apartment was clean and located close the the Notre Dame campus. Honestly, there was only one drawback. Parking was a bit tricky - not impossible, but tricky. We always found a spot, but sometimes we were literally the last spot in the parking lot. I wonder if there were others who did not get a spot in the lot. Made me wonder if parking was an issue as we returned around 10pm to our unit each night. Just an observation, not a complaint."

"Honestly ridiculous experience booking a room with this company. I booked, went through a thorough identity screening including 3D face mapping, and paid and got a confirmation. 2 hours later I get a call saying they performed a background check and it failed! (I have zero issues on my background or arrests or even outstanding parking tickets) I’m in disbelief but more so curious what the issue is and they can’t tell me. I am directed to an another company who does the checks to find out for myself. I find out that the “flag” was a NO FAULT incident in a parking lot from last year that involved a city vehicle. No charges, no damage, no fault, yet somehow this flagged “Damage to city property” and they wouldn’t let me get a 2 night hotel stay! Most ridiculous circumstances I’ve ever seen. Despite both companies knowing how foolish this all is, nobody could help me and I still am not allowed to rent a hotel for 2 nights through them. I hope you never need any kind of customer service from them because it was pathetic, bordering on discriminatory."
