"This was a bucket list item to spend a night in a lighthouse. It was difficult to find one where you stay in the lighthouse itself, much less be alone in the middle of a harbor on a small “island”. We reserved our stay eight months in advance, and the experience did not disappoint. Kevin and Paul were helpful every step of the way, before and during. The five levels of the lighthouse are packed with gems, including multiple sitting areas, a vintage antique turntable with old records, scary movie DVDs. You can even see the light room, where there are excellent city views. The outdoor area is spacious, though we didn’t use it as much as we would have liked due to weather. The bathroom was adequate ( there is no tub or shower). There is one sink for the lighthouse, but we enjoyed the rustic appeal, the quiet. I would say it was a once in a lifetime experience, but now I would like to come back, maybe for two nights?"
