What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pullen Creek StreamWalk is a charming, easily accessible natural spot near the Skagway cruise port, highly praised for its seasonal salmon viewing and the chance to spot seals. Visitors appreciate the convenience, the natural beauty, and the availability of amenities like restrooms and Wi-Fi. While short, it offers a delightful wildlife encounter and a peaceful break.
"Start at the Salmon Ladder in the port where the cruiseship dock.
If you are visiting at the right time of year and the tide is right, you will not only see Salmon accessing the first part of the creek on their journey to spawn, but also voracious seal or three, eagerly following the fish up the ladder to feast.
By following the creek on either side, you may not always have a good view of the salmon that are making their way up the stream. Not to worry. There is a small pond up the creek and also a bridge, and both offer a good view of the nature documentary about to be revealed. Enjoy!
If you decide to put your feet in the creek, you'll be surprised at how cold it is, but, respectfully... don't. There is so.w serious business going on."

"Came here on a cruise in May recently.
Started on this short trial, nice and cooling beside the stream.
Joined the Dewey trail and thought could get to the lake.
But the Dewey trail is very much tougher, did only a short portion else would not have time to explore the town and join the planned excursion in the afternoon."

"If you’re coming back from a trip into town to the cruise ship this is worth a quick 15 minute stop. There are good opportunities for close-up viewing of fish in the stream and the park is nice. Breaks up the walk a bit and the kids had a great time."
