Time to count the stairs and keep counting!!!
Hit the trail on a clear day.
Every step and moments counts!!! Uhhhh hardest trail to get to the Alpine hut. It's worth it. Body is sour for few days but views and memories stays forever. The trail is well designed, maintained and developed for enthusiastic hikers to trail runners.
Bring layers! It gets colder and windy as you ascend toward the Alpine hut ridge. Be careful and pay attention to loosen and icy stairs. Bring plenty of water and snacks to eat and enjoy the majestic views.
Best part and the view is climbing up on the rock stairs carved out of the rock and the rope laying on the side."

"Take the Harbor Mountain trail to the top, it is way better. The Gavan side is chaotic. It is mud, rocks, tree roots, and well-worn wooden stairs that need repairs. Glad I only came down on this side, had I known it was that bad, I would have just went back the way I came."
