What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Sage Ranch Park for its beautiful open spaces, well-maintained trails, and stunning panoramic views, making it ideal for hiking, contemplation, and photography. The recent road improvements enhance accessibility, and its dog-friendly nature is a significant plus. However, some trails may have unexpected closures, and the lack of shade requires visitors to be well-prepared for sun exposure.
"Marvelous open space with trails and views in every direction. I didn't get to do much on the trail system as I jad a tired dog that was not interested in any more hiking but they looked very well maintained. Lovely setting for contemplation or use of the picnic tables for a lunch. Simi Valley on one side, San Fernando Valley on the other. Wonderful. And and added bonus Box Canyon road on to Woolsey Canyon road is a cool drive that reminds me of the Topanga Canyon which is right around the corner. I'll be back and go there first with the dogs so I can explore more. Highly recommended."
Kevin Webb
"Beautiful hiking area ❤️ Pretty family friendly too, my 2 year old daughter and my 3 year old niece had no problems with the smaller loop! In the past I have brought my older nieces and nephew here. They had so much fun exploring the rocks and taking in the views!"
Daisy Cota
"Beautiful landscape however the loop is misleading as the trail is closed about 3/4 of the way through so you have to backtrack to return."
