"It has a tactile room for kids. My 8 yr old grandson enjoyed himself immensely. Great little pond area by the bridge for the younger ones during warmer months. Great walking path for people that need flat ground. Easy access to the river."

"We were really happy to find this neat little place. The trail went on forever a nice paved path which is perfect for walking or biking. Lots of people out enjoying it. Great view of the river and all the natural surroundings. I enjoyed seeing all the native plants and then afterwards they had a great little gift shop and a great place to take the kids to see the animals that are inside, taxidermy animals. Like always in a place like this it's always great to drop in a little donation to keep it going and keep it funded."

"We stumbled on this local at the end of a road. The site has a wonderful walking trail that crosses the Dungeness River via a very old railroad trestle that is all that remains of a railroad line that was destroyed during a flood in 1961. The tribe has done a remarkable job with this Mature area. It is so peaceful and really beautiful. There are interesting signs that share information about animals and the area. There is also a building with displays about the area's animals, the woods, and the mountains. There is also a gift shop, restrooms, and a small selection of pastries and coffee. This is a visit that is well worth a visit."
