Reviews Summary

Visitors find the National Women's Hall of Fame an interesting museum with a significant mission, housed in a beautiful historic building. While the content is inspiring, some reviewers note that the exhibits can feel sparse and limited in scope, with only a portion of the building fully utilized. The potential for expansion and more in-depth displays is a recurring theme.

"Very interesting museum detailing the many inductees and their accomplishments. Regular admission is $7. The museum is a recently renovated old mill. The museum will be 3 floors, currently only the first floor and part of the second has exhibits."

Kate Evans

"This was a wonderful place to learn some history concerning abolistionists and sufferage movement. The museum is set up nicely and very well kept. I was there for a conversation with authors - it was an event held here during Brave Women's Week in the Finger Lakes Region. Very interesting. There was artwork on display and all of it was very moving. The National Women's Hall of Fame is an American institution founded to honor and recognize women. It was incorporated in 1969 in Seneca Falls, New York, and first inducted honorees in 1973. As of 2024, the Hall has honored 312 inductees"

Theresa St. John

"If simply for the original architecture of the Seneca Falls knitting mill built on the Seneca Canal it’s our Nation’s first and oldest nonprofit dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women, which means that’s why it started in 1973 and took a Pandemic to finish. My personal favorite is the real story of the “landlady” which Parker brothers brought and sold?! Currently there’s an Amelia Bloomer exhibit and another one on female children’s illustrator’s and in case you haven’t heard our newest inductee? Serena Williams tennis anyone"
