The suggested donation pricing and free First Thursday admission are highly appreciated, making it an accessible cultural experience. Some wish for broader representation of Indian art.

"The Seattle Asian Art Museum is definitely worth a visit. The collection is diverse and beautifully presented, with many artifacts related to Buddhism that are impressive. The building itself is elegant and set in peaceful Volunteer Park, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. A great place to spend a couple of hours and learn more about Asian art and culture."

"A very nice glimpse into some of the finest oriental exhibits in the city. There is so much value or get from the $15 ticket price. After a walk in the museum, highly recommend checking out the park as well."

Sam

"I visited this park today as the entrance fee is waived off on the first Thursday of the month. It has a great edifice and welcoming staff.. sadly, no focus on India and the rich art and culture from India. Too much of China and Budha related resources. Though they are important, without giving sufficient space and credit to India, the Asian Art scene is not comprehensive. There are also some indian carvings and painting wrongly attributed to China and Pakistan!! This is inaccurate.

In the section on Hindu temples, there is a mention of Muslim workers and builders . This is a gross distortion of the well-established fact that Muslims destroyed temples and don't believe in idol worship.

It would help if the gift shop has handicrafts from India, Thailand etc instead of Hello kitty toys.

The whole museum is surrounded by Volunteer park and conservatory, Dahlia garden and water tower which are fantastic attractions"
