What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Elaia Spa Seattle is praised for its luxurious facilities, including a pool, sauna, and steam room, and its relaxing atmosphere, especially for couples and special occasions. Guests often highlight the quality of treatments like facials and massages, and the availability of refreshments in the lounge. However, some visitors have found the pricing to be high and have experienced issues with facility maintenance, such as broken table warmers.
"I loved the facial that I had here last week. Isabel did such a wonderful job and provided an amazing face and neck massage with it. And getting to use the spa facilities before and after the facial made for a truly relaxing morning. Looking forward to going back!"

"This is a lovely spa for guests of the hotel, or for anyone else. It's located within the Hyatt Olive 8 but you don't have to be a guest to visit the spa. You can pay for spa treatments with World of Hyatt points which is very nice.
The spa itself is excellent. My partner and I received a couples retreat package which consisted of access to the relaxation lounge (which includes complimentary tea, fruit cups, nuts, and chocolate-covered fruit), a joint soak in a warm salt bath, and a side-by-side massage with aromatherapy. Robes and sandals are provided. There is also a sauna and steam room in each of the locker rooms.
The entire experience is extremely smooth and relaxing. It's expensive, but good for a special treat."

"I booked a 60-minute massage today and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The massage table warmers were broken and the AC was on, which left me freezing the entire time. Because of this, I was unable to relax or enjoy the massage.
The masseuse herself was good and did apologize for the situation, but I was surprised that the spa still serviced clients on a table they already knew was not working properly. That should have been addressed before allowing anyone to book.
What should have been a relaxing session was instead stressful, as I spent the whole time worried about being cold. My experience was ruined, and while they offered a 20% discount, I personally felt that was not an acceptable resolution given the circumstances.
I truly hope management takes steps to ensure this doesn’t happen to future clients, because relaxation and comfort should be the bare minimum at a spa."

Isabel, for instance, is mentioned for providing an amazing face and neck massage during a facial. The couples retreat package, which includes a joint soak and side-by-side massage with aromatherapy, is also a popular choice for those seeking a shared indulgent experience.
It's worth noting that while the spa aims for perfection, occasional issues can arise. While the masseuse was good, the spa's management of the situation and the resolution offered were points of contention. This highlights the importance of clear communication and ensuring all facilities are in optimal working order for every guest.
