Reviews Summary

Whitefield Square is widely praised as one of Savannah's most beautiful and magical spots, particularly loved for its charming gazebo and serene atmosphere. Visitors highlight the enchanting experience during sunrise and sunset, with mentions of fireflies and butterflies creating a fairytale ambiance. While generally peaceful, some note the presence of homeless individuals, though they are typically described as harmless.

"This is one of the most BEAUTIFUL Squares in ALL of Savannah, and I recommend EVERY.SINGLE.PERSON. visit this spot at least once in their lifetime.
If you are from the area, you may already be aware of this magical square. If you are visiting Savannah, this is such a special spot.
The BEST times, during the day, is early in the morning during sunrise and in the evening during sunset.
The best times, during the year, to visit the Square is April-June & late August - mid-October.
At sunrise, go to the Gazebo and sit facing East... As the sun comes up, the rays start to bounce off the glass and gold around the city, and it shines all around you. The light glitters and shines, making it impossible for you to NOT start your day with a smile.
In the evenings, as the sun goes down and the gazebo is starting to become shaded (in the summer), the fireflies will start to dance. They flutter all through the flowers and bushes surrounding the area, joining the butterflies that are always there. The rays of sunlight start to bounce off the glass and gold again.
All together, it makes you feel as if you are experiencing a moment of true fairytale magic.
(whether fairytale magic is real or not, you'll definitely feel like it is in that moment) And You won't be disappointed.❤️"
