What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Montezuma Audubon Center for its incredible birdwatching opportunities and diverse natural habitats. Many highlight the value of guided tours and the serene beauty of the wetlands. However, some have noted inconsistent center hours and occasional maintenance issues on certain trails.
"Incredible bird tour by the director of the facility. The nature has a diverse terrain providing habitat for many different birds. There is a nice building which serves as a miniature museum. All in all, it was a good memory for me. If you don’t do the bird tour it might not be as great of an experience."
Matin M.
"I have never actually been in the center as it has been closed each time I visit. Last time we were there the feeders were empty and the look-out was roped off with caution tape. However, there are some nice trails beyond the building and all the way around the large pond and through the woods. Some nice bird sightings. There are both shaded trails and open ones and none that I have tried were anything other than flat ground for easy walking."
Sarah Snyder
"Amazing spot for birding all year round. Very remote location that takes you to a very quiet and magical area. Nice shaded and accessible walk for all ages with a nice view on the wetland. Canoes available for use and a nice exhibit in the center."
