"We visited this beach after Anna Maria Island.
Since we stayed in Sarasota, it was much closer for us to come here. Despite there being much less information and reviews about this place, the beach is just as good, the water is also clean, and the sand is white!
Highly recommend it!"

"I AM SO SAD & MAD!!!Lido Beach used to be quiet, Tranquil, everyone very polite, And respectful of others. TODAY It is very noisy with people, blasting their music, Running by your towels and kicking up sand on you And invading your space Physically and vocally. With the renovation, There Are sharp, crushed shells and a long walk to the water.
I used to love going there. It was a sanctuary. It took me 15 minutes to get to the beach and now it’s over a half hour.
It is impossible to relax and enjoy the beach And a peaceful swim. If you take a walk, kids riding The boards Running into you. There’s no courtesy walking smoothly while you dodge people walking straight through you.
The water is beautiful, But everything else About going to Lido beach has made it so I can’t Enjoy the beach or swim in the water that my taxes pay for and the reason Why I live here."

"The beach was beautiful and not super crowded. Parking was tough and it's a bit of a walk to the beach where it's less people but it was so worth it!"
