"Definitely do your research before showing up. This place was a photographers dream if you have a little patience and love nature. There were so many alligators, which was such a treat. Definitely bring good walking shoes. I don’t know who wants to take a canoe out but it was an option. Thus is definitely a cool place to check out."

"Came here to hike the nature trail and walk the bridge. It was a nice park. They were working on the boats so there was no boatrides at the time. Lots of grounds to explore.Just wear good shoes because it was quite muddy on the trails."

"Great experience. Canopy walkway open again. Lots of alligators and birds. Cafe closed, but foodtruck replacement. Boat tours closed (water level too low). Signage not great, so have a map handy. Our perfect half day. 1) Visitor center (left after gate) to get oriented. Get paper map. 2) Bridge alligator viewing (park side of road). 3) Lake/cafe area bird/gator viewing. Go to very end of parking lot. Take very short Weir trail. 4) Eat gator stew at foodtruck. 5) Go north to bird viewing platform. 6) Short hike in and out at Ranch Dr."
