Beki, the owner, is one of the sweetest and most genuine people I’ve ever met. I didn’t expect the owner to be so hands-on, but she’s deeply involved in every part of the ranch — and it truly shows. She’s a wealth of knowledge, made great conversation with our group, and also knew exactly when to let us just take in the scenery.
The ranch itself is absolutely stunning. I’ve never been horseback riding through a trail before, and now I don’t think I could ever go back to a regular ride — the combination of the horses and the beautiful trail views was unforgettable. We booked our ride at the end of September to catch the wildflowers in bloom. We were apparently a week or two early, but there were still so many! They were so tall they brushed my face even while on horseback — I can only imagine how gorgeous it must be at peak bloom!
I also loved that they take photos throughout the ride and share them with you at the end. It’s such a thoughtful touch because you can just enjoy the experience and still leave with beautiful memories captured.
Overall, this was an excellent experience and such a great value. I’ve looked into other horseback riding places that were more expensive, but Hidden Palms Ranch truly offers the most — and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. The small group size (only about five riders at a time) made it feel personal, peaceful, and special.

"What a beautiful experience! We did a girls trip to ride horses & enjoy the Lake Jessup Preserve. We saw cows, a wild pig & 3 deer during our journey. We laughed & had a wonderful time! Hannah, Lauren & the staff were absolutely fantastic. We had a lost phone & they went above & beyond to help find it…and it was found!
