"Best place in Galveston for fishing and hanging out with family and friends. Be sure to have 4 wheel drive if you plan on going out there. Every time we go, we see people stuck who should have never tried to drive through the sand. San Luis Pass is almost never crowded which is great, but it’s good to be aware of the dangerous currents and steep drop offs at San Luis Pass. Use caution when going in the water."
