"This place is amazing, especially with the vintage cars today. There is a lot of nice people, and some of the long time people putting this on, they dress up in the early nineteen hundreds. These old cars are amazing. History park looks amazing as well.I would love to go back when the park is open, and all the buildings are open"

"We went here for the Christmas lights drive-thru on Christmas eve so the line to get in took at least an hour. I was grateful not to drive to another city to enjoy this holiday tradition. Seeing the park with all the different museums - Vietnamese and Chinese among others made us want to go back during the day. Years ago, we came here for a Sriracha festival but parking was tough. It is definitely a treasure to have this kind of park in San Jose. An open space with lots to explore."

"History Park offers an immersive step back in time, featuring beautifully preserved historic buildings, engaging exhibits, and interactive experiences that highlight California’s rich heritage. The park is spacious, making it easy to explore at a relaxed pace, whether you're visiting for a casual stroll or attending a local event.
One of the highlights is the annual Scout-O-Rama, a well-organized gathering of scouting troops from around the area. The event showcases hands-on activities like firetruck demonstrations, archery, and pinewood derby races, providing a great opportunity for learning and community engagement. Even outside of events, visitors can enjoy historic trolley rides and museum displays, making History Park a fantastic place for families, school groups, and history enthusiasts alike.
The setting is peaceful and scenic, offering plenty of open spaces for walking and photography. Checking the event calendar ahead of time is a great way to plan your visit around special programs, guided tours, or seasonal festivals."
