"Saint Aidan's Church is located in one of the best locations in San Francisco in the Diamond Heights area of San Francisco. It's just a stones throw away from Twin Peaks, and is surrounded by some of the best neighborhoods in the City.
I have volunteered at the Food Pantry since 2012, and I can tell you without hesitation that the people who are members there are some of the nicest and kindest people you'd ever want to meet.
There is also a privately run preschool for about a dozen young kids that is attached to the lower part of the church that faces Diamond Heights Blvd.
The main church hall and church entrance is just around the corner and across the street from.the Safeway Shopping Center at 101 Goldmine Drive. The hall itself has undergone a recent renovation , including the hard wood floors which makes it a very unique and "acoustically" responsive venue, with a slightly raised center stage area in an almost circular and it is available for reservations for public and private events throughout the year. There have been recitals and practices held there by members of the San Francisco Orchestra and Opera with many musical events there 8n the 0ast few years. Plus they have a yoga class that meets there, as re regularly.
The church itself is very open to anyone who wishes to attend services on Sundays, and it prides itself as a place that welcomes the LBGT community to be part of its congregation and to worship with the rest of its unique and progressive community.
It is also a Sanctuary as may be needed in today's trying times."
