What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise SeaWorld San Diego for its engaging animal shows, diverse marine life exhibits, and thrilling rides. The park offers a good mix of education and entertainment, making it a hit for families. While some find weekend crowds and food prices high, weekday visits and bringing your own snacks can enhance the experience.
"Absolutely great experience. The summer during a week day is the best time to go. The summer has extended hours with more shows. I got to see tons of amazing sea life, watch animal shows and animal feeding, go on water rides and awesome roller coasters, see a comedy action show, see a parade, watch a BMX show with a live concert, and finish off the night with awesome fireworks. The lines for rides on weekends in summer are long. If you want to avoid crowds visit on weekdays or during the spring/fall. They also have themes up during holiday seasons. I enjoyed my experience so much I got a year pass for a great deal and now have gone several times in less than a year. A new experience every time."

"Weekdays are quite nice, the lines for the rides are very fast and you can relax watching everything.
They allow you to bring your own food and water.Hours are from 10 am to 6 pm
There are many activities where you can get wet, so I recommend wearing comfortable, quick-drying clothing. An extra change of clothes and shoes.
The park is not as big as the zoo but it is quite entertaining and there are many activities."

"It's one of the best sea world i ever visited in this very beautiful city. All shows include orka, dolphin, sea lion, etc . - amazing. I would recommend this even if someone just wants to spend 4 hours or so and just attend the shows. Believe me, it's worth it. My kids loved it. One advise- carry poncho in shows specifically in wet section area if you don’t want to get wet."
