What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Bexar County Courthouse for its magnificent architecture and historical significance, calling it the largest and oldest continuously operated courthouse in Texas. The free Bexar County Heritage Center is a highlight for exploring local history. However, some reviews mention negative interactions with staff in specific court departments and concerns about judicial fairness.
"This courthouse is the "largest and oldest continuously operated historic courthouse in Texas", according to the county website. It was built in the 1890s. This massive building is interesting because the design is not typical of the town square courthouses I've visited throughout Texas and the front view is not symmetrical with the 2 different tower appearances... different in height and design. Its color comes from red sandstone. It was closed on a Saturday, so I didn't get a chance to go inside."

"Beautiful architecture. I'm glad they did not destroy it and replace with some horrendous 1980's government spec structure."

"This review is not for the staff, nor for anybody else. This review is specific for Judge Nadine Melissa Nieto.
There are some really good honorable judges in Bexar County that get overlooked.
The clerks try their best with everything they do and they only follow directions from their supervisors. The staff has nothing to do with what goes on in the court rooms with judges.
Judge Nadine Melissa Nieto is the prime example on why Bexar County Court house is under investigation.
Judges like her, put a dishonorable name on Bexar County Court House.
She is not by the people or for the people.
Elections are coming up, do your research on judges.
Bexar County and other governmental entities are understaffed and that might be the reason why Bexar County is dealing with judge like Judge Nadine Melissa Nieto.
My case is Yessica Yazmin Garcia vs Jacob Rodriguez"
