There is a huge green in front of a bandshell that is an amphitheater. Lovely public restrooms. A neat shaded walk with picnic tables and a gazebo. A beautiful fountain. All in the shadow of the Bell Tower.
The park dates back to 1855 when Salisbury native Maxwell Chambers donated the two blocks to the First Presbyterian Church. It's a fabulous open space and Salisbury is fortunate to have it."
