Reviews Summary

Visitors are consistently awestruck by the sheer number and size of saguaro cacti, describing the landscape as breathtaking and a unique desert experience. The park's beauty, especially during sunset, and the well-maintained trails are frequently praised. However, the intense summer heat is a significant drawback, making hydration and avoiding midday sun crucial for enjoyment.

"So many Saguaro cactus on mountains. Weather is super hot in summer, make sure bring sufficient water during visit. This national park are separated into 2 area, east and west on different sides of city. East area mainly can drive on 8miles loop, west area has a desert museum worth to take a look. You can also choose hiking on trails but better not in summer."

Rui Ding

"WE STILL OUTSIDE! Hiked the Saguaro National Park, Ricon side and it was great. Please, please bring water! More than you have to. $35 to get in and they recommend you start early. I did one trail, which was the Cactus Forest and Mica view, but they do have other trails and entrances. Worth the view! Also, I almost got lost, stick to the park trails. DO NOT GO OFF TRACK. Some of the public made their own trails to connect to main ones. You are in the lower part of the Sonoran desert."

Kimberly Feathers

"Absolutely beautiful!! One of our first stops on a multi-city road trip and we were beyond speechless. Coming from Florida, this was a whole new world. The trails were easy to follow and the views were endless. Definitely a sight to be seen, highly recommend!"
