"Such a fun, nostalgic experience. Before Fun Lan Drive In, closed, I was loyal to them, as it was a lot closer to me. Now that it's no longer there, we finally got around to visiting the next closest one, Ruskin Family Drive In. So happy to see that the community came together to raise $ for a new screen after the old one was ruined in the 2024 hurricane.
It's a good location for a drive in (better than Fun-Lan) because it's much darker without the Tampa lights. The woman at the ticket booth was super nice and my fiance said everyone he encountered at the snack stand was friendly too.
We got a pepperoni pizza and it was surprisingly awesome! It's good 'bar' style pizza. It's honestly just cool to be able to carry a boxless pizza out and eat it in your car in front of a giant screen! We also brought our own snacks/candy.
Bathrooms are alright, they're at least pretty well-lit. Not disgusting. They're on par for drive-in bathrooms.
I would definitely recommend this drive-in for families as well as couples. Core memories."
