What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Roswell's airport is noted for being small and basic, with limited amenities but efficient TSA staff. The surrounding airport property, however, is vast and impressive, particularly the aircraft boneyard. While some visitors have had negative experiences with airline staff, others found the airport easy to navigate and the staff friendly.
"Roswell is probably one of the smallest US Airports I have ever been to. It’s pretty much one gate and one terminal. So, the airport itself is pretty outdated, dirty and does not offer anything.
But, the TSA staff is fast, efficient and really friendly.
Now that being said, the airport property is massive, really cool to drive around and looks the plane grave yards, the repair and parts storage.. it’s HUGE"

"ROW is an adequate airport considering it serves only two or three flights per day.
AA ticket counter opens at 4:30am but is staffed only around arrivals and departures.
Security opens about 15 minutes later. They handle both Pre Check and those without. It is a slow process due to their confined space. They screened the last pax as broarding was called.
There are rest rooms and vending inside security so I don’t recommend waiting to go through.
Other than a coffee shop that appears to only be open for the mid day arrival departure, they have some vending machines.
Three rental car counters. Baggage claim looks like it’s from the 40’s but it’s functional.
We didn’t have any issues but at these smaller stations you run the risk of longer delays for mechanical issues due to the level of resources available.
We chose it because it was closer to Carlsbad than ElPaso and had a better connection in DFW.
It met the need with no frills."

"Airport was easy to fly into and get our luggage. Rented a car as well with no issues. Everyone was very friendly."
