What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ross Falls is a charming, easily accessible waterfall with a short, pleasant hike. Visitors appreciate its peaceful atmosphere and the scenic trail, though some note that water flow can be reduced in summer and mention occasional graffiti. Overall, it's a delightful spot for a quick nature escape.
"Not super amazing at the end of July, but it was fairly easy to get to. There were a couple benches, but it looked like someone was a jerk and destroyed one completely. There was a little graffiti, too. At the turnout, you'll see a one of those thin, brown flexible sign posts (I should have grabbed some pictures). If you have your back to the road, the first noticeable one about to the middle of the pull-out area says it is not the trail, and points to the left. It looks like people have tried to make a trail up there anyway, but the sign is correct. You'll go to the left of the pull-out maybe 10 feet (if I remember correctly) and you'll see the sign and trail. There a little bridge to cross over the creek that was in decent shape. No other visitors while we were there."

"Nice little hike. Not too strenuous, though. There are a couple of benches on the way up to rest and enjoy the peacefulness. Ross Falls is beautiful. I’m not sure if there’s still water running in the summer. I was told it’s only running in the spring. It’s so worth the hike ."

"First of all, for those that don't know, the trail to get to Ross falls, is to the left of the highway turnout.
Do not take the trails AT the turnout.
It's a short 10ish min hike. Doable for most kids and adults.
Creeks and waterfall were running very well right now!
Still some graffiti, as mentioned.
And trash left by other visitors.
Overall, was a nice short hike, to a gorgeous waterfall.
And not many visitors at all. For a Saturday."
