"It’s a short trail to the falls, 1 mile out and back. Definitely great for families with small kids. The Waterfall is beautiful but would look a lot better in spring.
You’ll drive about 30 mins in a winding road, be safe.
• The trailhead is inside Rose Valley Campground
• There’s a Campground Fee if you want to use the spaces inside if available (Cash Only, Check the Information Board at the entrance) but Street Parking is available before the Campground entrance if you don’t want to pay. You just need to walk a little extra.
• If you’re camping, reservation is recommended. There are only few available spaces.
• Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash
• Restroom on site but not clean (it’s better than none)
Since you’re there, also check the Upper and Lower Rose Lakes."
