What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ronceverte Island Park is a beloved spot for its peaceful riverside setting, perfect for picnics and enjoying nature. Visitors appreciate the walking loops, opportunities to cool off in the river, and family-friendly mini-golf. However, some express disappointment with littering, wishing for better preservation of the natural beauty.
"It's nice. it's got a 1k walking loop and a 200m track. The 1k loop has a couple of buckled spots. Empty in the early mornings, there's little league practices in the evenings and occasional weekend festivals. There's also a small spot on the other side of the main road that is maintained but no one uses it."

"Definitely an unexpected pleasure to stop with some KFC for a picnic! Beautiful view of the river while eating. Geese and ducks passing by was great to see enjoying the cool water. Everything was clean and well kept which is always a plus. A walk down to the rivers edge was fun! Skipped some rocks taking these 55 year olds back to 10 again! Very quiet except for the humm of the mill which really wasn't bad at all. Very enjoyable and some kids seemed to be enjoying the water! Wish I'd had my water shoes to have cooled off some too. Ample shade and I believe some volleyball nets."
