"The Center for Learning in Retirement recently had a class held at the Macktown History Center, an old settlement of mostly family members who came to the area in the 1800s. I enjoyed seeing their grounds even more than to the lecture part of the session. If you enjoy "living history" as much as I do, then you may even enjoy the reenactments they have.
The Rockton Township Historical Society also had a recent class through CLR. I needed to travel a ways for my next class, so I didn’t take photos while I was there, except for a photo of a photo forvwhich Ifelt a personal connection. But I made a promise to myself to return soon. They are open on Saturdays and well worth the time to visit."
