"Nice trails to walk, a beautiful tranquil beach and a farm in the front!"

"Hallock State Park is a great park. There is a self serve park pass machine in the front lot where you can get your state park pass for the day. You then drive back to the large parking lot in the back where there are hiking trails and then the broad trail down to the beach. It is downhill to the beach and fairly rocky so wear appropriate shoes such as sneakers, hiking shoes, Keens, Tevas, etc. Not a flip flop trail. The beach itself was pretty and somewhat pebbly. Very soothing and a nice beach. Should visit if you're in the area."
