"Such an amazing place to learn and feel the history of the local area. It was so cool to learn about Pistol Pete (OSU’s mascot), rebel gangs in the late 1800s, Native American history and so much more. Dale and Cathy were a really sweet couple who run the place and live on-site. You do have to call when you arrive so that they can open it up. I am in awe of my experience there and hope that this treasure keeps existing and gets noticed so people can appreciate historical details they may not even know have existed. The entrance was free; however, wish I could donate a million bucks to help with upkeep and so that it stands strong forever!"

"Nice place to learn the history of the region. Also to get to know the journey of Washington Irving in Oklahoma. I personally really liked the file about Pistol Pete with all the articles with photos about him. The owner was very welcoming. Call first though, before your visit. The owners were nice enough to come and open it for us, buy you might not get as lucky."
