Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Legacy Flight Museum for its impressive collection of historical aircraft, many of which are still airworthy. The knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers are a major highlight, bringing the exhibits to life with fascinating stories. While the building may be small, it's packed with engaging displays, including vintage engines and military memorabilia, making it a highly recommended stop in Rexburg.
"What an incredible find in Rexburg! The sheer amount of historical exhibits and their presentation is very well done in this facility. The staff and volunteers were friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. The kind gentleman with the red pickup truck was informative with an infectious level of enthusiasm for military aviation history that all generations should be exposed to. If you want to see cutaway displays of radial aviation motors, there are several incredible examples here, some have electric motors attached to demonstrate how the internals move during operation. There is an Allison v12 tucked away in the corner as well. 4 separate jeeps in different configurations and an impressive small arms collection (for Idaho, that says something) are also present."

"Incredible displays for being such a small museum. Definitely a must-see! Friendly volunteers. Much more to see than the interesting aircraft. They've got a P-51!"

"Wonderful Experience!
This museum is small in building size, but it is packed with a lot of very cool planes and artifacts from past wars. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and really do seem to care about the information they have. They have a very large assortment of old weapons, plus every plane in the hangar is still air worthy! That alone makes this place special. I would highly recommend stopping here. It was the coolest place I visited while in rexburg."
