Before then, we drove 2+ hours to the Los Angeles California Temple, where my wife and I were married and sealed for time and eternity. Before that, as a teenager, I was baptized there for my deceased ancestors who did not have the blessings of hearing and accepting the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. The power of God is manifest in the ordinances and doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, beginning with baptism by those who have authority from God, beginning in 1830, with the Prophet, Joseph Smith. Today, in 2025, the line of Priesthood authority continues with President Russell M. Nelson, the current Prophet of God. Heavenly Father loves each person on this earth, and each is invited to learn more and enter in at the gate, which is baptism in a local congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, thus following the example of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."
