Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning 180° panoramic views from Wolf Rocks Overlook, calling it one of the most impressive sights in the Laurel Highlands. The moderate hike through scenic, rocky trails is a highlight, though some mention the uneven terrain and potential for mud or snow. Wildlife sightings add to the experience for many.
"Really enjoyed hiking to wolf rock. It was a beautiful trail with great scenery. Lots of maneuvering around small rocks along the path but if you can handle a moderate hike it’s not too bad."

"Nice trail in the Laurel Highlands.Wear sturdy boots as there are rocks and tree roots. But pretty easy trail to the out cropping, about 2 miles.Trail can be made into a loop or done as an out and back. Quiet, birds and mushrooms and tons of ferns and moss. There are more chipmunks than I have seen in one place in awhile, like running all over. We saw a deer and reports about porcupine were also in the area. The view from the rocks is impressive and there are snakes ,rattlesnakes so always use caution-look where you step, never disturb them as this is their home. Be especially careful near over hanging rocks and crevices especially during hot portions of the day. Even though we spotted snakes at 9 am. The trail is also a big biking trail and there was evidence of horses as well."

"Winter time is just as good as any other time to visit this place. Now, deep snow makes for a much tougher hike to the overlook, as you may expect. Prepare accordingly.
I can't recommend this place enough for nature lovers and sightseeing. The trail does not disappoint. It's a few miles to the point for hikers but also has a clearing so snowmobiles can ride up to that point as well.
Now, for the overlook itself. Absolutely stunning view of the Laurel highlands. It offers a 180° view of the highlands from 750 feet above. I will include those photos for this review.
Moderate in the snow, easy any other time of the year."
