What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for the Cucamonga District, particularly concerning its schools, are mixed. While some praise friendly and helpful staff, others express significant dissatisfaction with school support, fairness, and safety protocols, citing issues like bullying and delayed communication about incidents. The district's elementary schools are generally viewed positively, but middle school experiences receive notable criticism.
"Since I can’t leave a review for RCMS I’ll leave my review here. Either way the district is trash. RCMS makes it trash. You get no support at this school and they are really unfair. 2 kids with similar offenses and one gets a slap on their hand while the other may get expelled or suspended. They don’t care about your child’s well being. So please if your child has an issue please let your voice be heard no matter how many times it takes. The staff at RCMS are rude and uneducated. You do have some great teachers here I won’t deny that but the office staff are no help and rude."

"Rancho Cucamonga School district is a joke. Rancho cucamonga middle school specifically. My daughter has been cyber bullied, twice, threatened multiple times, pushed against lockers, and shoved against walls by multiple students over the last 2 years. When my daughter defended herself against a bully twice as big as her, I found out the day after AND my daughter got detention, not the bully. When my daughter was kicked in front of a teacher after the school was notified that this girl shoved and threatened my daughter, NOTHING WAS DONE! Also, a kid brought a gun to school and we were not notified until 3 DAYS AFTER the incident! Now I'm learning that another kid had brought and pulled a knife out on another student just a week before the end of school and it took a parent to complain before the student was suspended. When the student told staff, nothing was going to be done. Not even an investigation. I'm sorry but I pulled my daughter out of this joke of a school district. Central district is where her and my youngest daughter will be going from now on."

"Elementary schools are fine but RCMS needs some improvements (lunch & proctors)."
