What Travellers Say

Peaks Ice Arena is praised as a great venue for learning to skate and play hockey, with well-maintained ice and good instructors. While the facility shows some age, it offers affordable public skating and hosts lively hockey tournaments. Some minor issues like the lack of popcorn and occasional field imperfections are noted, but overall, it's a beloved community spot with Olympic heritage.
"Great place for kids to learn to skate and/or play hockey. Venue is getting a little old now, but the ice rinks are in good shape. The kids love their teachers."

"Really fun and casual place to go ice skating! I recommend going during the summer or on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, as it's usually quieter those times. The prices are reasonable and there are 2 rinks so there's plenty of room for skating. This is also the Olympic rink, which I didn't know until I went!"

"Edit: Upping to 5 stars as the field was re-turfed. Way better.
Original:
I've been playing soccer here for several sessions (8 games per session, about once weekly, same day). It's a pretty good league. The competition level has been pretty wildly different each session. We won a session, then came in second, moved up one league and got annihilated, moved back down and have barely won a single game. Seems a common issue around most leagues. Not sure how they determine teams in each league.
The field is fun. Good size for being able take good runs and full kicks...a whole lot better than the new fields at Timpanogos if you ask me. There is out-of-bounds on this indoor field. So plays a bit more like traditional soccer, but small enough it's 6v6 (including keeper). There are a couplenrough spots on the field, full seams that run the entire width. Would be really nice if those were fixed.
I haven't done any other activities here. There's always some hockey camps/training and then games going on. A gym is available. Honestly not sure what the rest of the building is used for.
Apparently it's going to be closed and refurbed soon for upcoming Winter Olympics.
I'm leaving four stars because while I enjoy playing, there isn't any special draw for me to this field and the imperfections are pretty bad on the field. At the same time, I expect to keep playing. It's just what's available nearby now that Timpanogos turned into a bunch of 10 year old practice fields."
