"Development is still ongoing, but, what it has to offer makes it worth a visit. Trails along the river, playground, Four Tree Island, Portsmouth Outdoor Pool, multiple large parking 🅿️ lots, boat ⛵ launch and the commercial pier make the island a popular tourist attraction. You can bring Fido 🐕 but he must be leashed and cleaned up afterwards. The views of Prescott Park 🏞️ are good.
You may encounter 🐇 rabbits along the trails. Bring your Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch and your Book 📖 of Armaments. Different waterfowl will stop by.
If you are in Portsmouth and have time, I recommend a visit."
