The splash pad and playground are highlights for children, while the walking paths and shaded areas offer relaxation for all. Some mention parking can be challenging during peak times.
"My first time here, looking for safe places to get out and walk. Kids playing at the park with water 💦 features to play in. You can continue to walk the circle which has scannable exercise suggestions. Or you can walk over to tiki docks or the opposite way to the kayak launch to get your steps in. Real nice Park."

"Clean and fun for the kiddos. Also a great place to stroll or rollerskate. There’s a big field area for games or exercise. The splash pad is great for the kids and the playground is fun. The only thing I would recommend is some kind of covering for the playground to give the kids some shade as it gets extremely hot."

"I've come here a couple times and I must say it's such a peaceful place for many reasons ... I park on the side away from the kids playground area that is near the water and has a lot of trees! There is some great trees to hang a hammock and just be 🙏🏻 every time I've gone there's usually a nice breeze off the water.
For parents there is a really great playground and the center that has facilities. I've never been in the center because I usually just walk by the water or stay with the trees.
As for hiking there is a hard path near the water that you can follow which will eventually lead you over the Dunlawton Bridge but I haven't walked that because I usually come to just enjoy the outdoors!"
